Registration: Registration takes place in the office. Weiterbildungsinstitut does not offer discounts with respect to late registration for ongoing courses.

Payment: Course fees must be paid during the registration period or at th e latest prior to the start of the course. A 10% discount is available in circumstances where the entire course fee is settled seven days before the course commences.

Cancellation Policy: Any cancellation must be issued in writing prior to the start date of the course. In the event that you provide at least seven days notice of your intention to cancel, no cancellation fee shall apply. Failing to provide written notice at least seven days in advance of the course start date shall render you liable of a late cancellation fee of at least €20 or 10% of the total course price.

Course alterations/Refunds: Deutschinstitut reserves the right to cancel courses which fail to satisfy the minimum participant requirements. In the event of such a cancellation or an alteration to the duration of the course, participants will be offered a refund.

Course certificate: In order to successfully complete the course and receive a course certificate, participants will have to attend at least 75% of the course. Participants with less than 75% attendance will not receive a course certificate. See also cancellation policy.

Course materials: The course materials are included in the course fee and shall be handed out by the teacher during the course. Participants who for whatever reason fail to receive or retain said materials shall have no claim to be furnished with additional copies after the course has ended.

Lessons: Each lesson shall consist of two 50 minute teaching units. There shall be a ten minute break between these teaching units. Therefore a lesson listed as two hours shall comprise seventy five minutes of teaching time.

Liability: Weiterbildungsinstitut Wien neither assumes or accepts liability for the property of persons attending our courses and shall not be held liable for the loss, theft or damage to a person’s personal items, clothes, bicycles or valuables. In the event of loss, damage or theft, Weiterbildungsinstitut Wien shall not be obliged nor shall it make pecuniary offers or offers of an equivalent nature to compensate individuals for any listed or similar incident.
Weiterbildungsinstitut Wien assumes liability for accidents and or other damage that may occur on the way or during the course only in so far as it is prescribed by law. Weiterbildungsinstitut Wien assumes no liability for trips or excursions during lesson time.

Protection of privacy: In general, any information you provide to Weiterbildungsinstitut Wien will only be used within the company and by its agents and service providers. Information will be disclosed to third parties where we are obliged or permitted by law.
