| Built in an old Flak Towers in Vienna’s 6th District, Vienna’s Aqua Terra Zoo features more than 3.500 animals that are shown on an area of 6.000 m2, including snakes, fish, crocodiles and even sharks. In the tropics area, free-running monkeys and birds steal the show, while the Mediterranean Sea section features a cross-section of life found in the waters of the Mediterranean, starting with plant life and anemones, all the way to fish, crabs, starfish and snakes. The Aqua Terra Zoo is popular with families and children of all ages, and its main attraction is no doubt the large shark pool, which has several medium size sharks and giant sea turtles. |
